UNLOAD dictated the pace in the three path, waited in the two path around the far turn, came under pressure in the three path at the top of the lane while getting challenged by an outer rival, dug in valiantly while dueling with that rival to the wire, and held on. HOT GUNNER settled in range from the four path up the backstretch, ranged up under a ride in the three path passing the quarter, bid from the four path into the stretch, battled on gamely with the inner pacesetter to the wire, but could not get past. EXCEL CALCULATOR raced in midpack between foes from the two path, came under a ride between foes midway around the far turn, angled out to the five path at the top of the lane, and ran on for show. RIGHT ON RIGHT ON race off the pace in the four path, was ridden between foes in the three path midway around the far turn, angled out to the six path in upper stretch, and finished evenly. SOUND OF VICTORY laid up close inside, was roused from the rail midway around the far turn, but faded in the two path down the lane. MINTASTIC tracked from the rail, got shuffled back around the far turn, and made no impact in the three path down the stretch. COBBLESTONE BRIDGE rated out in the five path up the backstretch but made no closing bid. BEYOND BEST was wellback in the two path and did not factor. THE THUNDERER stalked in the four path, came under pressure passing the three-eighths pole, but yielded from the six path down the lane. BRITTANY'S DREAM was unhurried in the five path early, cued midway around the far turn, fanned out to the eight path at the top of the stretch, but did not threaten. WINTER'S GHOST had an awkward stumble at the start, then trailed throughout.
