Footnotes
DEVIL'S TOWER pressed the inner pacesetter, was cued to bid from the three path passing the three-eighths pole, led in the four path at the top of the lane, drew clear passing the sixteenth, and held firm. LUNAR MODULE had an awkward start, chased in the four path, angled into the two path under a ride midway around the turn, swung back out to the four path at the top of the stretch, and ran on for place. TRACK PHANTOM prompted the pace in the four path, was coaxed along around the turn, floated out to the six path in upper stretch, and kept on for show. HENRO trailed in the two path, was nibbled along from the rail around the turn, cut the corner at the top of the stretch, and rallied late. SWEET AS SIN raced off the pace in the four path, was driven in the three path around the turn, angled out to the seven path in upper stretch, and improved. OSBOURNE tracked in the two path, continued under a ride around the turn, swung from the five path into the stretch, and finished evenly. RED STATE got sent to set the pace along the rail, came under pressure passing the three-eighths pole, fought on from the two path down the lane, but yielded in the final sixteenth.
