ARTHUR'S COURT prompted the pace in the two range, loomed up to bid under a ride in the two path midway around the far turn, took the lead at the top of the lane, and drew clear. PROMISSIONE tracked inside, was coaxed from the rail midway around the far turn, angled out passing the quarter, floated to the six path at the top of the stretch, and ran on to clearly be second best. NA PALI JOE stalked in the four path, inched closer to bid in the three path passing the quarter, kept on in the four path down the lane but evened out around the sixteenth to show. SCOTTISH STORM pulled around the first turn, showed the way in the two path up the backstretch, was asked for more run passing the three-eighths pole, but faded in the stretch. GOLD GUNNER was wellback in the two path, ridden around the far turn, angled out to the seven path in upper stretch but made no closing bid. LIBERTY'S CHAMPION rated in the four path, was driven around the far turn, swung from the five path into the stretch, but weakened. STOKE THE FIRE chased from the five path up the backstretch, was driven in the three path around the far turn, but never menaced.
