MAXXUS pressed the pace in the two path, vied for the lead around the turn, inched ahead while flopping to the left lead passing the eighth pole, then flopped back to the right lead just before the sixteenth while drawing away. DAWSON JAMES raced off the pace in the four path, was pushed along in the three path around the turn, floated out to the eight path entering the stretch, and ran on for place. LOWER BROADWAY stalked in the three path, was driven around the turn, and finished evenly from the four path down the lane for show. RIPPLE'S ROCKET set the pace inside, was cued from the rail passing the three-eighths pole, fought on in upper stretch, but yielded in the final furlong. IMPROBABILITY trailed in the three path, was driven in the two path around the turn, but made no impact. BEST FLAT OUT prompted the pace in the four path, was roused from the three path passing the three-eighths pole, but gave way down the lane. FULTON rated inside but never menaced.
