LITE IT UP LOUIE stalked in the three path up the backstretch, was driven along on the outer flank of the pacesetter around the far turn, angled out to the five path passing the furlong grounds, kicked on to draw ahead of the inner pacesetter in the final strides. WHAT'S TO DO laid up close in the two path, advanced to take command while in hand going into the far turn, came under a drive midway around the far turn, floated out to the four path at the top of the lane, dug in gamely to the wire, but got edged out by an outer foe in the final strides. PAYTON'S BEAUTY tracked in the two path, came under a ride early around the far turn, faded from the three path down the stretch, but was clearly best of the rest. COURTNEY FAY rated in the three path, was cued into the far turn, swung from the five path into the lane, but made no closing bid. MEMORY MAKER prompted the pace inside but retreated in the two path around the far turn. JERI DAWN trailed in the two path early and did not threaten. SMART WITH HEART showed the way inside, lost the lead entering the far turn, then gave way.
