BLACK POWDER chased in the three path, ranged up under a ride in the four path around the far turn, took aim while swinging from the five path into the lane, rallied into the final furlong, and inched ahead in the final strides. MACHINE GUN MAN got rank going into the first turn, pulled to set the pace inside, received a right handed cue midway around the far turn, dug in gamely from the two path down the stretch, but got nailed by an outer foe at the wire. ONTHESTAGE bumped with an outer foe at the start, trailed in the three path, improved in the four path around the far turn, fanned out to the seven path at the top of the lane, and finished evenly outside of rivals to get up for show. DETERMINEDLY laid up close along the rail, came under pressure early around the far turn, but faded from the three path in the stretch. CONQUERING CAT bumped with an inner foe at the start, stalked in the three path, was driven around the far turn, but flattened in the four path down the lane. HERN pressed in the two path, was ridden around the far turn, but gave way down the lane. TEXAS CYCLONE tracked in the two path, was cued midway around the far turn, but retreated. WOODCOCK FLIGHT (IRE) rated inside but never menaced.
