PIPPA'S NONCENTS stalked in the three path, loomed up to bid from the two path midway around the far turn, took command while being roused in the three path at the top of the lane, and kicked away. TIKIHUT rated in the two path up the backstretch, angled out between rivals and bumped an outer foe while under a drive in the three path midway around the far turn, ranged up to take aim in the four path at the top of the stretch, and ran on to be second best but could not keep up with the winner. KAVA set the pace inside, came under pressure along the rail passing the quarter, lost the lead to the winner at the top of the lane, got out-finished by the runner up in the final furlong, but fought on to be best of the rest. AVERY COUNTY had to steady along the rail leaving the first turn, settled up close just behind the pacesetter, came under pressure entering the far turn, but faded in the stretch. STAR OVER MALIBU steadied between foes around the first turn, tracked in the two path, came under coaxing while tipping out to the four path passing the three-eighths pole, got bumped by an inner foe midway around the far turn, then weakened down the lane. KANSAS SMOKE settled in midpack from the three path but made no closing bid. WHY CHRIS WHY trailed inside and made no impact. SMOOTH MARRIAGE was unhurried in the four path entering the backstretch but did not factor. BATTISTO pulled to press the pace in the two path but yielded between foes passing the quarter. CAROLINES HART chased in the four path but retreated in the three path around the far turn, then was eased thru the stretch.
