Footnotes
GOLD SWEEP broke with the field, moved closer on the outside with a half to run, pressed three wide far turn, challenged turning into the stretch on the outside vied past the furlong marker then drew clear through the final furlong under right then left handed encouragement. BOOTH with the pace while racing three wide, vied between horses and inside the winner out of the turn, proved no match for that one in the final furlong, fully extended to hold the place. TEJANO TWIST broke back, continued to lack speed out in the strip, angled six wide into the lane, rallied down the middle of the strip to be closing the gap on the runner up. ZERO SUGAR off step slow, moved up and settled in mid pack up the backstretch three wide, came four wide for the drive, set down, not enough for the third spot while between horses at the wire. SURVEILLANCE within striking distance inside, came in the two path out of the turn, lacked a closing kick. SHARP SWINGER lacked early foot off the inside, three wide out of the turn, also found lacking when the real running began at the head of the lane. DAPPER MOON off a step slow, lacked speed, three to four wide out of the turn, failed to muster a rally as well. HOLA JOEY broke alertly, helped set the pace along the inside, gave way in the drive. MIKEL W back off the early pace and the inside, fanned five wide out of the turn, bothered when in tight soon after then faded.
