WOODCOURT broke on top, narrowly showed the way into and through the first turn, dueled while holding a slight edge up the backstretch and into the far turn, found more when confronted by additional rivals midway on that bend then held sway through the lane under steady handling. GUN PARTY back off the early pace, settled in the second flight between horses the middle half, asked along midway on the final turn, could not get to the winner after shifting out widest with a furlong remaining, proved determined for the runner up position. WINNEMAC AVENUE last to leave, moved out to be three wide onto the backstretch, loomed a threat four wide midway on the second turn, vied on the outside into the lane then failed to sustain that energy to the wire. CLASSIFY broke forwardly, pressed the winner in the three path, continued to contest the issue while between horses into the stretch, weakened throkugh the stretch. NUMBER ONE DUDE within striking distance while four wide much of the way, lacked a closing punch through the lane. PRESIDENTIAL 2nd group inside, finished after a half, continued to back up through the lane.
