MAX GOT EXCITED back off the pace and the inside, angled out to be five wide into the lane, challenged outside of the leaders with a furlong to run, gained the advantage and was edging clear at the end. GHOST OF MIDNIGHT void of speed, swung six wide into the lane while outside the winner, lost some ground to that one and the leaders, late energy to be up for the second spot in the final strides. NASTY HABIT forwardly placed out in the strip, three wide into the turn, put a head in front in upper stretch, narrowly showed the way past the furlong marker but could not contain the top two. RUN CLASSIC fractious in the gate, behind the leaders in the two path, traffic late in the turn, split foes a furlong out and displayed some mild interest late. LUNDBERG broke on top, chased the winner in the three path for a half, had little left for the stretch drive. R HEISMAN cleared from the outside before a quarter, showed the way into and through the turn in the two path, weakened when headed in upper stretch. INVULNERABLE behind the leaders inside, in traffic along the rail into the turn, faded through the stretch.
