EMINENT CAT brushed, broke back, sluggish, fanned eight wide when advancing exiting the turn, challenged outside the past midstretch and proved best under firm handling. WHITLEY bumped at the break to be off slowly, advanced in some traffic late turn, between horses and four wide into the lane, gained the advantage, dueled inside the winner to the wire, outkicked, clearly second best. ARCO THUNDER back off the pace well out in the strip, seven wide and inside the winner into the lane, challenged with that one with a furlong to run, could not match the top two to the wire, finished clear of the rest. IGNITING EMBERS in mid pack off the inside, came four wide for the drive and between horses, lacked a closing punch. OUR VEKOMA RIDE brushed at the start with the winner, raced back with that one, three wide into the stretch, bettered his position without posing a serious threat. FLAT OUT BLESSED in the second flight along the inside, covered up in some traffic through the turn, two path for the drive, lacked a response when clear in the drive. CATTLE BARON within striking distance outside, four to five wide turning into the lane, lacked a closing kick. ZOOMING PAST forwardly placed off the inside, dropped inside the leader exiting the turn, briefly battled closest to the rail and weakened. AMORE three to four wide in the turn when off the pace, failed to muster a response. ARKANSAS LOVIN MAN broke alertly despite bumping with the runner up, set the pace off the inside, came three wide for the drive when holding a narrow advantage then gave way. WERTHETHREEAMIGOS pressed the pace for a half along the inside, stopped in the drive.
