LUNDBERG broke with the leaders, crept closer three wide to challenge by midway on the turn, shook clear when nearing the furlong marker, held the next two safe late under firm handling. AMERICAN XPERIMENT behind the pace just off the inside, steered out to be three wide into the lane, challenged between horses and inside the winner with less than a furlong remaining, outkicked by that foe to the wire. PAYNE broke out and back, continued to lack speed toward the inside, two path midway on the turn, dropped inside a rival turning for home, steered out and finished up willingly to be getting to the top pair while too late. RUNAWAY JACK last to leave, lacked speed three wide through the turn, three wide rally and also finished up willingly after finding best stride too late. PRAYFORPEACE bothered soon after the start, steadied, settled in mid pack, asked along three to four wide late in the turn, went evenly through the lane. VALE broke well, narrowly set the pace along the inside, continued to hold a narrow advantage into the stretch, weakened the final furlong. GOT THUNDER made little impact while racing three wide. W W SCOUT'S HONOR pressed the issue early, dueled through the turn in the two path then weakened in the drive. MIDNIGHT MAJESTY came in after the start to bother PRAYFORPEACE, was straightened to race in mid pack then weakened in the drive. TAHOE SUNRISE was through early, trailed in.
