Footnotes
MIRAGE never far back while racing outside, raced four wide while continuing in forward position through the turn, challenged exiting the bend, wore down the runner up through the lane under steady handling. IRISH WHISKEY away in good order, vied up front three wide, raced on equal terms with the winner through upper stretch and past the furlong marker then gave ground grudgingly to that rival while remaining clear for the place. COASTAL BREEZE broke alertly, forced or set the pace between foes backstretch, continued to do battle up front while closest to the inside entering the stretch, gradually weakened down the lane. BUTCH broke back, raced outside, four to five wide turn, staged a mild rally to improve position while not a threat to the top three. MAJOR LEAGUE in the second flight while off the inside, went evenly through the lane. GIMME A CHANCE back off the pace while racing in the two path, lacked a serious closing response. AMENTUM in the second group while along the inside, saved ground to no avail to also be found lacking through the stretch. CONWAY went one paced off the inside, lacked a closing kick as well. DAWSON JAMES flashed brief along the inside, gave way in the turn. BIG BOURBON RIVER broke back, continued void of speed, failed to menace while three wide into the stretch. E MONEY remained always back. ENDUE bobbled just after the start, trailed throughout.
