FIFTH AVENUE broke alertly, showed the way up the backstretch just off the inside, saved ground through the turn while given a bit of a breather, stayed clear to the wire under steady handling. FORTY LOVE back off the pace and the inside, came three wide for the drive, set down for the drive, steadily getting to the winner late, clearly second best. WOODSPOINT chased the winner while racing off the inside, had little for that one through the stretch, could not contain the runner up the final furlong, narrowly saved the show. CHARLEY PRIDE off a step slow, raced back while saving some ground through the turn, moved out for the drive, finished willingly to be gaining for the show spot late. WIND RIDER forwardly placed while racing outside, floated out four wide into the stretch, had little left for the run to the wire. EL SARGENTO rank in the early going while steadying a bit the opening furlong, settled, second flight turn, faltered in the drive. PHENOMENAL DREAM off a step slow, void of speed, saved ground in the turn, improved inside of rivals into the lane then flattened out the final furlong. CHASING RAIN in mid pack while along the inside early, moved out to be three wide exiting the turn, failed to muster a rally. ARMY HERO failed to menace while racing off the inside. CAVANAL lacked speed, four wide through the turn, not a threat. HEAVENLY DEACON finished early while racing outside.
