COSMIC CHIC settled off the pace along the inside, continued to save ground when moving closer turn, in some traffic a quarter, squeezed through a narrow opening into the stretch, drove well clear under steady handling. CASHMERE BABY raced in mid pack while outside, four to five wide turn, rallied willingly to earn the place, no match for the winner. TEXAS SEQUOIA in the second flight outside, moved a bit closer while four wide turning into the stretch, could not match the winner the final furlong, caught late for the place. HONDURAS PASSION lacked speed off the inside, three wide and in some traffic turning for home, improved a bit in upper stretch then flattened out a bit in the final furlong. VERY COSMOPOLITAN last away, remained void of early foot, steered three wide into the lane, improved position with some belated interest. SASSY LASS broke back, saved ground near the back, not a threat in the drive. MAXIMUM TO EXCEL in the second flight while racing three wide, had little left for the drive. CALL SADIE lacked early foot, raced inside, angled out a bit in the two path late in the turn, failed to make an impact through the lane. STEPHANIE STARFISH chased the winner in the two path for a half while between horses, gave way in the drive. TACTICAL EXPRESS broke alertly, sprinted well clear, stopped when headed by the winner in upper stretch.
