BLESSED VISION off the early pace while outside, began to advance midway on the turn, ranged up four wide to challenge turning for home, came in under a right handed crop putting STOMPING HOTROD in tight in upper stretch, switched to left handed pressure soon after when gaining the advantage, held the runner up safe late under continued firm handling. CHUPAPI MUNYAYO last away, trailed early outside, swung five wide into the lane, finished with good energy to be closing the gap on the winner late. STOMPING HOTROD within striking distance distance while three wide, moved a bit closer three wide and inside the winner turning for home, was put in tight when straightened for home, continued in some traffic, clear final furlong, finished up evenly. CLASSY SOCKS broke in to bother PARTYINTHESTREETS, was straightened to press the issue early in the two path, dueled turn, between horses turning into the lane, weakened the final furlong. HOPPIN JOHN broke back, lacked speed off the inside, raced in the two path through the turn, found best stride too late through the lane while improving position. ALLO ENRY behind the pace in the two path, came three wide for the drive, lacked a closing response. ONLY A DREAM behind the pace while inside, continued to save ground just behind the leaders by late in the turn, also found lacking through the lane. PARTYINTHESTREETS in tight, bothered at the start, moved up to race in mid pack, went one pace to also be found lacking when the real running began at the head of the lane. COOL AND CLOUDY made little impact while racing three wide. STATLER was finished early while racing inside. MACHO RONNIE broke on top, set the pace inside, dueled turn along the inside, stopped in the drive. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REGARDING THE RUN THROUGH UPPER STRETCH AND A CLAIM OF FOUL BY THE RIDER AND TRAINER OF STOMPING HOTROD AGAINST THE WINNER FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
