JERSEY PEARL away in good order, dueled up front in the three path, put the other speed away when straightened for home, clear by the furlong marker and maintained daylight to the wire under steady handling. BENEDETTA behind the pace out in the strip, moved a bit closer three to four wide exiting the turn, chased the winner past the furlong marker, could do little with that one in the late going while edging clear for the second spot. TAPIT QUICK in the second flight inside, continued to save ground behind the leaders into the stretch, proved no match for the top two late, narrowly gained the nod for the show. KANT BELIEVE IT dueled up front while closest to but still off the rail, continued on equal terms with the winner late in the turn then could not keep up, gradually lost position to the wire, missed the nod for the show. HILLERITO off a step slow, fell further back, steered out three to four wide by late in the turn, set down, lacked a closing kick. GRAY LIGHTNING broke out, raced in the second flight early while between rivals, continued in the two path turn, had nothing for the drive.
