Footnotes
APOLLO RISING raced in the second flight outside, advanced on the leaders three wide late in the second turn, challenged while getting out turning for home, clear upper stretch, slowly increased advantage to the wire under steady handling. GLOBAL EMPIRE in the second group while inside the winner and between horses, dropped to the inside late in the final turn, modest interest late to prevail for the place, no real threat to the winner. ONE COOL DUDE stumbled badly at the break to spot the field a couple of lengths, remained back, advanced three to four wide late in the final turn, carried out to the five path by the winner entering the stretch, chased that rival past the furlong marker, flattened out a bit late to be outkicked for the second spot. SOUND OF VICTORY lacked speed while off the inside, four to five wide into the lane when making a modest move, lost some ground into the lane, continued with mild interest to the wire. WINTER'S GHOST pressed the early leader in the three path, continued to prompt that one the middle half, took over far turn, faltered in the drive. COPPERMASTER fell back to trail after the start, continued to race sluggishly up the backstretch, steered out to be widest for the drive, passed tiring rivals while not a threat. CRITICAL THREAT in the second flight along the rail while inside the top pair, continued to face forwardly second turn, had little for the drive. RUNNINGFORCASH lacked speed, four wide in the second turn when well back, gave way in the drive, jogged in well beaten. TAHOE SUNRISE moved up inside to show the way into the first turn, set the pace for almost six furlongs, stopped second turn, also stopped through the lane, jogged in as well far back.
