Footnotes
SIX STRING PRINCE set or forced the pace in the two path, gained a somewhat larger advantage in the far turn, came out to float the runner up out entering the stretch, dueled to the wire with that one and proved best in game fashion. RACE READY stalked the issue well out in the strip, moved a bit closer outside the winner late in the final turn, floated out by that one into the stretch, dueled, outkicked in the late going, well clear for the place. CANDY CANE CRAIN lacked early foot, raced three out to four wide second turn, angled in a bit for the drive, staged a mild rally to annex the show, no threat to the top pair. NO MORE KINGS void of early foot three wide, continued off the inside backstretch, three wide again in the second turn when making a modest advance, flattened out in the stretch. KHONSU off a step slow, raced back in the two path, continued to lack speed, improved position through the lane while not posing a serious threat. WICKED GUN in some traffic in the first turn in the middle of the pack, pulled in the run up the backstretch, two path through the second bend, came up empty for the stretch run. PALMER BEACH also surrounded by traffic in the first turn, raced in the second flight up the backstretch along the inside, tired in the drive. EDZO SAID SO off a step slow, trailed in lacking speed, was never a factor. ROCHESTER pressed the issue early along the inside while firmly in hand, dueled into the far turn, began to give way soon after while inside the winner.
