Footnotes
COUNTING STARS forwardly placed while five wide into the first turn, four wide onto the backstretch, closer before a half, took over three wide in the second turn, clear into the lane, steadily drew out through the lane while kept to pressure. NEWTOWN PIKE lacked speed while four wide through the first turn, continued outside, four wide again late in the final bend, rallied out in the strip to be in time for the place, not a threat for the win. SCOT'S LAW off a step slow, raced back early, moved closer three wide through the second bend, chased the winner past the furlong marker, went flat through the final furlong to be caught for the second spot. PAVING four wide into the first turn when forwardly placed, pressed in the run up the backstretch, challenged between horses and inside the winner second turn, faltered through the stretch. AUTHENTIC CAT off slowly, trailed early while off the inside, came four wide when making a mild advance into the lane, continued to exhibit modest interest through the lane to improve slightly. COPPER WIND broke on top, dueled early, fell back to prompt the pace just before a quarter, faded through the stretch. KABOOM off a step slow, raced n mid pack inside, raced in the two path through the second turn while remaining back, lacked closing response. FIZZY LASS dueled early in the three path, shook clear and dropped to the inside just before a quarter, showed the way up the backstretch then gave way when headed in the final bend. STICKER SHOCKED lacked speed off the inside, was finished after a half, trailed in.
