RETRIBUTION rated forwardly and off the inside, made steady progress four wide and between rivals heading to the quarter pole, sustained and put a head in front between foes near the eighth pole, spurted clear under a hearty ride then held firm while kept alert. TOUCHY , urged along outside rivals, was fanned five wide leaving the three eighths, circled six wide into the stretch, straightened away and closed gamely outside runners to gain the place. ANCIENT WORLD had speed inside rivals then steadied when in closer near the four and half furlong marker, steadied off heels near the three eighths, angled out mid turn, ranged up five wide outside foes into the lane, drew on near even terms outside the winner with a furlong remaining then flattened out. NORMANDY COAST had speed between foes then rated back nearing the half to stalk, shifted inside with a run into the lane and churned on. ONE NINE HUNDRED had speed four deep early then dueled with FASTER GATOR nearing the turn, kicked away with three furlongs remaining, led two wide under a ride into the stretch, failed to contain outer challenges nearing mid stretch and weakened. PERFECT FORCE , urged along between runners, angled in with a run near the quarter pole, altered out for room leaving mid stretch and kept on with effort. FASTER GATOR had speed three wide between runners then battled inside ONE NINE HUNDRED to the half, rated off that one soon after, eased out to chase, raced three wide and to the inside of foes into the lane, lacked a punch past the three sixteenths and faded. SLAM NOTION , away awkwardly, raced off the pace while saving ground and failed to get involved. TINY LAKE brushed with an outer foe at the break, flashed speed, chased to the inside of rivals past the five eighths, dropped back around the turn, came three wide for the drive and lacked a response. CHIPOTLE gave early chase inside and dropped back. KEEP IT EASY popped the gate open pre race, was brushed at the break and away sluggishly, had an overland trip, had his rider lose the crop inside the three sixteenths and failed to muster up a run.
