RED FLAG lacked early speed, was on the move three then four wide on the turn, reeled in the leader at the sixteenth pole and drove clear. SEE THROUGH IT got crowded shortly after the start, traveled near the back then trailed inside a rival, angled four wide around the turn, steered out further at the top of the lane and got up for second. SIMPLE SONG showed the way from inside then in the two path, kicked away in upper stretch, got run down by RED FLAG at the sixteenth pole and lost second nearing the wire. R HEISMAN traveled near the back and stayed off the rail, took the turn three, four, then five wide, summoned a mild rally and missed the show. COMEDY TOWN tracked the speed outside rivals, took the turn three wide and lacked a bid. STYLE CAT chased from inside around the turn, moved off the fence in the lane and weakened. DECAPO raced up close to the outside of the pacesetter, chased two to three wide on the turn and faded down the lane. HAWKER raced up close between rivals then bumped with outer foe, started to climb and fell out of range, saved ground through the turn, steered out in upper stretch and was never a factor. WHISKYGINANDBRANDY also followed from up close, made contact with HAWKER early, chased between in the two path on the turn and came up empty.
