ONE HAPPY DUDE trailed three wide into the turn, angled widest while asked right handed on the turn, spun six wiee into the lane, closed in fast from the middle of the track and overhauled the top pair in the final fifty yards. ONE STEP BEYOND raced up close to the inside of the top pair, raced in tight from the seven-sixteenths pole to the three-eighths marker, shifted over to the two path, lacked room behind the top pair approaching the quarter pole all the way to the top of the lane, angled out into the clear, took over midstretch but could not fend off the winner. KIKI RIDE fought for the lead from outside up the backstretch and around the turn, carried a short lead into the lane, lost command midstretch and stayed on gamely for third. LANZADOR shifted in and bumped at the start, chased four then three deep in the early going, bid outside the top pair with a quarter mile left to run, fought to midstretch, then weakened in the last sixteenth. WASTED WARRIOR was ridden along outside a rival from off the pace, went three wide into the turn, moved to the two path then came back out and entered the lane in the five path, offered a mild response but needed to find more. VOUCHER lost his footing in the hind-quarters leaving the gate, chased from off the pace on the inside, steadied briefly when running up on a rival at the five-sixteenths pole, tipped two wide into the clear, pursued within striking distance at the eighth pole but flattened out in the late stages. TASCADERO broke well, chased between rivals then got crowded approaching the turn, rounded the bend three then four wide and could not rally when called upon. GENTLEMAN RANCHER broke a step slow, stalked between rivals, took the turn two then three wide, moved out further in upper stretch and weakened. MATTS ADVISOR chased along the inside into and around the turn, moved off the fence a bit in the lane and weakened. JIMMY DELIVERS dueled from inside up the backstretch and around the turn, could not keep up entering the final furlong and folded. LA MOTTA AVENUE was fractious in the gate, brushed the gate and bumped with a rival in the beginning, chased from off the pace four wide into the turn, came three wide into the stretch and failed to menace. JAMAL broke a step slow, was ridden along at the back on the inside, asked right handed on the turn, switched to the left turning for home and could not make an impact.
