EMPIRE'S CLASSIC traveled in the two path near the back, angled out on the far turn, chased four deep into the lane, closed in entering deep stretch and overhauled the top pair late. TRIBAL took control along the inside, pressured around the far turn then cleared again at the quarter pole, challenged again at the top of the lane, resisted into deep stretch and could not fend off EMPIRE'S CLASSIC late. EVERYDAYISSATURDAY relucant loading, broke out, tracked three then two wide around the first turn, drew closer while keeping off the rail on the far turn, challenged from outside at the top of the lane, fought into deep stretch and failed to summon the needed late kick. SIX MAGPIES (IRE) settled on the inside then in the two path, chased in range three wide exiting the far turn, put a mild rally and rounded out the superfecta. TAPIT DYNASTY sat off the pace two wide then along the rail, shifted to the two path again at the quarter pole, altered in at the sixteenth marker and kept trying to the wire. TYPHOON TOMMY raced up close in the two path, challenged from outside on the far turn got turned away late on the bend, then weakened in the drive. DO IT FOR DAVE was off slow to begin, trailed on the inside, angled out into the lane and proved no menace. PAT CAN'T COUNT stalked the pace from the rail position, saved ground through the far turn as well, lacked room behind TYPHOON TOMMY in upper stretch and weakened in the furlong grounds.
