NAFISA grabbed the lead and angled to the inside, took pressure early on the backstretch, cleared approaching the half-mile pole, showed the way two wide into the stretch and drew away under a drive. TIME TO SHINE stalked the pace next to the fence, ridden along the rail on the far turn, finished willingly down the lane and edged LOLO LE PLUME for the place honors. LOLO LE PLUME was closest in pursuit from the two path around the first turn, applied pressure to NAFISA early on the backstretch, lost touch with the leader outside the half-mile pole, chased in the two path around the far turn and got outfinished for second. SCARY FAST RIDE broke a step slow, took the first turn three then four wide, went three wide into the second bend, moved to the two path, swung out into the lane and lacked a rally. DEEP BLUE chased two then three wide early, asked three wide on the second bend and weakened in the drive. CHAI checked behind a rival into the first turn, trailed on the inside and was never a factor.
