LADY RIDER stalked in the two path into the turn, challenged from outside at the five-sixteenths pole, seized control at the eighth pole and held gamely over the runner-up. HEY LIL LADY got crowded by LADY MARYANN early, traveled three deep at the back, took the turn two wide, rallied between runners down the lane, drew alongside. LADY MARYANN angled to the inside chasing from off the pace then moved into range up the backstretch, hugged the rail to the stretch, finished willingly next to the fence and earned the show honors. CLUBHOUSE CUTIE sprinted to the front from outside, challenged at the five-sixteenths pole, lost command with a furlong remaining, fought back into deep stretch, then weakened late. CLOUDY WOMEN raced up close on the inside, drafted behind the leader around the bend, steered off the fence in the lane and finished evenly. MOTET stalked three deep into the turn, chased two wide turning for home and never responded when called upon. POCKET VENUS broke a step slow, chased from off the pace, steadied at the three-eighths pole, angled out and came four wide into the stretch, got floated out outside the eighth pole, then failed to threaten in the final furlong. IRISH ROSE was off a bit slow to begin, traveled four deep at the back in the opening stages, advanced three wide on the turn, then flattened out in the stretch run. MAGALE got crowded between runners early, continued between at the back after, steadied at the three-eighths pole, chased from inside to the stretch and failed to menace. COIFFEUR traveled inside rivals at the back of the field, got shuffled back at the three-eighths pole, trailed to the stretch and was never a factor.
