APPLE PIE steadied behind a trouble rival crossing the dirt, chased three then four deep off the pace early, took the turn three wide, angled out at the top of the stretch, closed in steadily and got up in time. TIGER OF THE SEA sprinted to the front and showed the way up the backstretch, met the bid from outer rival at the quarter pole, resisted through the lane, led into the final strides and got nailed by the winner. PURE CHAOS traveled in mid-pack on the inside, drew closer around the bend, tipped two wide into the lane, got boxed in and angled inward in upper stretch, steered back out a bit midstretch, dug in late but ran out of ground. SYNTAX raced up close to the outside of the pacesetter, drew alongside the leader with a quarter mile remaining, hounded that rival into deep stretch but could not summon the needed late kick. ADVERSE SELECTION got crowded between rivals early, trailed the field on the inside, passed a rival around the bend, swung widest into the stretch and finished well outside the top quartet. TURKEY BIRD followed in range two wide leaving the backstretch, took aim in the three path turning for home but flattened out in the stretch. ALL IN THE GAME broke well then lost momentum when traveling awkwardly across the dirt, raced three deep off the pace then angled in for the turn, crept closer from the fence around the bend, had her path taken and steadied in upper stretch, tipped out into the clear and could not rally. SALLY'S WISH stalked from inside, came off the fence a bit at the top of the stretch, got floated back to the inside and put in tight at the eighth pole, then weakened in the late stages. FIELDERS CHOICE traveled in mid-pack outside a rival, lost positions in the two path on the turn and had little left for the drive. SIBO came in a bit crossing over the dirt, raced two wide near the back into the turn, fell back to last around the bend and was never a factor.
