STRUCK BY HER (IRE) got knocked into inner rival at the start, sat off the pace, went two wide into the turn, angled out and came four wide into the stretch, closed in on the leaders, dueled with YURAK in deep stretch and edged that rival while flopping leads near the wire. YURAK veered in and bumped ESSENTIAL LADY leaving the gate, followed in range outside rivals up the backstretch, challenged four deep on the turn, took over in upper stretch, battled with STRUCK BY HER (IRE) late and yielded grudgingly. DARING PURSUIT trailed along the inside into the turn, moved into the two path around the bend, steered out into the lane, rallied and earned the show honors. SURFIN' U. S. A. got bumped hard leaving the gate, stalked outside a rival then angled in on the backstretch, waited for room behind the leaders turning for home, bumped FORCED ENTRY while going between runners in upper stretch and kept on to round out the superfecta. ESSENTIAL LADY bumped on both sides leaving the gate, vied three deep in the early going, chased after the top pair into the turn, re-bid three deep midway around the bend, carried a narrow lead into the stretch, lost command shortly after and flattened out. BAILARINA chased out of range well off the rail early, went three wide into the turn, angled widest into the lane and kept trying to the wire. EGYPTIAN MISTRESS followed in range then fell out of striking distance on the backstretch, was a bit rank along the inside midway around the bend, came off the rail in the lane and needed to find more in the furlong grounds. ZURAYA (GB) traveled in mid-pack between foes early, chased two then three wide on the turn, tipped out at the top of the lane and failed to produce a bid. SUGAR REIGN vied between rivals up the backstretch, dueled from outside then between rivals once more on the turn and weakened in the lane. FORCED ENTRY broke inward, went up to fight for the lead inside a pair of rivals to the turn, fought head to head through the bend, yielded while getting bumped by SURFIN' U. S. A. in upper stretch and folded.
