Footnotes
QUEEN MAXIMA was closest in pursuit to the turn, drew alongside PRINCESA MOCHE (PER) on the turn, seized control in upper stretch and maintained a short lead under a few taps of the right hand and strong handling through the final furlong. PRINCESA MOCHE (PER) established the front quickly, took pressure QUEEN MAXIMA around the bend, relinquished the lead in upper stretch and stayed on gamely to the wire. SPICYBUG was forwardly placed in the early going, navigated the turn three wide, chased within striking distance down the lane and finished willingly to earn the show honors. EGYPTIAN MAU (SAF) broke a step slow, unhurried after, moved to within range two to three wide on the turn, asked left handed in upper stretch, could not produce a bid but was able to save a minor award. NAY V BELLE laid off the pace, angled to the inside for the turn, went between rivals in upper stretch and offered a mild response to improve down the lane. ROSIE JEEKS tracked three deep around the bend, came four wide into the lane and failed to respond when asked. OMNIPONTET (BRZ) stalked from inside, followed behind the leader around the turn, chased two wide into the lane and weakened. MISS LIZZY antsy in the gate, tracked three wide into the turn, angled out and came six wide into the stretch but could not make an impact. ANTIFONA (FR) settled near the back, navigated the turn four then five wide and faded in the lane.
