Footnotes
BEAR'S BOARD away quickly and vied from inside into the first turn, ceded command to outer rival, stalked keenly in hand into the backstretch, took over at the four and half furlong marker, cleared at the midway point, kicked away on the far turn and remained unchallenged under a strong drive. TRAIL BLAZE got crowded, bumped and steadied into the first turn, went five then four wide around the bend, moved into range four deep on the backstretch, was closest in pursuit three then two wide on the far turn, chased determinedly after the winner down the lane, lacked then needed late kick but was clearly second best. ANOTHER JUANITO got bumped on both sides into the first turn turn, chased three wide around the bend from off the pace, came four wide into the stretch and was along for the show honors. SATURDAY tracked two to three wide, between foes into the far turn, spun three wide into the lane and weakened. GOLDEN CHASER got bumped into the first turn, raced outside a rival near the back, passed a few rivals on the far turn, angled out in upper stretch and improved position. PICK IT UP got crowded and steadied into the first turn, raced on the inside near the back after, got shuffled behind a tiring rival at the three-eighths pole, went two wide into the lane and improved position. COSMIC TRAIL came in to bother several rivals entering the first turn, chased in the two path, between rivals at the half-mile pole, dropped back on the inside around the far turn and tired. AUTISM UNITY got pinballed into the first turn then had to take up shortly after, trailed up the backstretch, passed a rival on the far turn staying off the rail and was never a factor. KILMER tracked the pace from inside, moved off the fence on the backstretch, eased in the lane and walked off. OLD TIMER vied four wide into the first turn, cleared and angled in around the bend, lost command at the nine-sixteenths pole, chased after the new leader at the midway point, dropped back on the far turn, eased in the lane and walked off.
