DELLA TERRA fractious right before the start, went up to duel from inside, fought inside a pair of rivals on the turn, maintained a short lead into the final furlong and gamely prevailed. JENNYS WINE GIRL hit the gate and broke out, chased the top pair outside a pair of rivals, bid three deep on the turn, battled down the lane but could not get by the winner. DADDYGAVEITTOME broke well and raced up close between runners, chased two wide into the turn, angled out at the quarter pole, took aim four wide entering the stretch, fought outside the top pair in the furlong grounds and finished a game third. WEST FRESNO came out leaving the gate, went up to duel from outside, fought between runners at the quarter pole, stayed on to midstretch, then weakened in the last sixteenth. STUBBORN came away awkwardly, chased up close on the inside, trailed into the stretch and weakened.
