SAINT MIHIEL chased after the top pair from off the rail, went two wide into the turn, drew closer while tipping to the three path, bid three deep turning for home, fought outside TOULOUSE DETRAC in the final furlong and wore down that rival for the victory. TOULOUSE DETRAC broke out, pressed from inside then took over while dueling up the backstretch, inched ahead into the stretch, resisted into the final sixteenth but succumbed to the pressure late. MANIAE climbed at the back early and was guided away from the rail, came back to the inside for the turn, angled out past the quarter pole, summoned a mild rally but lacked the needed late punch. ELTONSINGSANOTHER chased two wide into the turn, eased out around the bend and came four wide into the lane, kept trying down the stretch but needed to find more. BIG SOIREE bothered by inner rival coming out a bit at the start, chased from off the pace, went three wide into the turn, shifted to the two path briefly before returning to the three path and whittle the gap on the leaders while passing a rival in the stretch. STRAKER showed the way outside TOULOUSE DETRAC then dueled with that rival into the turn, fought in the two path around the bend, between rivals into the lane, yielded in upper stretch and weakened.
