GOING LUCKY was closest in pursuit of the leader from inside, crept closer on the backstretch, cut more into the lead on the far turn, tipped out at the top of the lane and challenged from outside, took over with a furlong remaining, kicked clear from inner rival and drew away. O K ROSE laid well off the pace on the inside in the early going, gained along the fence on the far turn, chased in range at the eighth pole but could only get up for second. MISS MEAGHER (IRE) settled next to the rail, closed into range on the far turn, shifted to the two path at the quarter pole, kept trying down the lane but needed to find more. MIYAKO cleared quickly and opened up a big lead early, continued well clear into the far turn, held a diminishing lead turning for home, was overtaken in upper stretch and flattened to fourth between rivals. CROSSANNA trailed the field in the opening stages on the inside, stayed on the fence through the far turn, steered out in the lane and improved position. DORIE MILLER raced outside a rival near the back of the pack, asked two wide on the far turn, swung out into the lane and improved position. ALERAMO (IRE) sat off the pace in the two path, continued two wide into the far turn, spun three wide into the lane and failed to respond. GIGGLE GIGGLE had to take up not too long after the start, traveled three then two wide at the back on the clubhouse turn, raced outside a pair of rivals in the middle stages, rounded the far turn three then two wide and was never a factor.
