Footnotes
MIDNIGHT MAMMOTH raced up close to the outside of PILOT COMMAND in the early going, came under a ride in the two path around the bend, chased determinedly into deep stretch, then surged late and nailed the runner-up. PILOT COMMANDER away quickly from the gate, set the tone up the backstretch, led along the inside through the turn, remained clear into the final sixteenth and got run down in the final moments. WINTERFELL stalked the leader along the inside, chased two wide into the lane and lacked a bid. BALADI stalked three wide into the turn, asked around the bend, remained in the three path entering the lane, moved out and weakened. BULLARD stalked widest up the backstretch, fell out of range in the four path on the turn and also weakened.
