TITANIC THOMPSON took control in the early going, led along the rail through the turn, kicked clear from REFOCUS in upper stretch, kept busy into deep stretch and was in hand nearing the wire. REFOCUS forwardly placed to the outside of TITANIC THOMPSON up the backstretch, flanked the leader on the turn, lost touch with the winner in upper stretch and stayed on to secure second. MR. MACHUPICCHU raced up close on the inside, saved ground to the stretch, lacked the needed response to left handed urging but was able to hold third. COACH CRONIN chased the speed from inside, fell out of range on the turn, kept trying down the lane and got denied the show placing. CODY BOY stalked from well off the rail early, went three wide around the bend and failed to respond. RUNKERRY chased outside a rival early, took the turn two wide and weakened. RICH REWARD was off a bit slow to begin, trailed up the backstretch, angled in entering the turn, tipped two wide at the quarter pole and failed to menace. YA'LL COME traveled near the back early, took the turn two then three wide, moved out in the lane and could not make an impact. HORIZON WILDCAT was off a bit slow to begin, made progress three then four wide on the turn but faded down the lane. UNBRIDLED VISION chased from off the pace, saved ground through the turn and was never a factor.
