HONEY'S CHOICE tracked from inside to the turn, moved a bit off the rail around the bend, rallied between rivals, took over midstretch and kicked clear in the final sixteenth. RULER OF LAW settled along the rail, saved ground through the turn, moved out a bit in upper stretch, came back to the inside while rallying into second but could not reach the winner. POSTMODERN raced in mid-pack outside a rival, took the turn two wide, steered out into the lane and gained third. CHAPTER ONE stalked the pace along the inside, shifted into the two path midway around the bend, launched a bid from outside in upper stretch but was no match for the top trio in the late stages. WORK dueled from outside, drew clear past the quarter pole, challenged by rivals on both sides at the eighth pole, yielded outside the sixteenth marker and weakened. TOBY'S HONOR laid off the pace outside a rival, advanced two, three, then four wide around the bend but failed to find more in the final furlong. PLETTENBERG BAY was off slow to begin, saved ground from off the pace, moved out a bit into the lane and passed tired rivals. B G BULLET stalked the top pair from between rivals early on, rounded the bend two then three wide and weakened in the drive. AHRENS dueled from inside up the backstretch and around the turn, yielded to outer rival past the quarter pole and weakened. DUTTON'S SONG was off slow from outside, stalked three deep into the turn, got moved out to the four path briefly midway on the turn, came back to the three path late on the bend and tired. AIRLINER was off slow to begin, trailed on the inside and never got involved.
