BAELA sprinted clear and crossed over to the inside, pressured by HELGA BRANDT (IRE) to the turn, headed midway around the bend, turned that rival away with a furlong remaining, came under threat from DARE TO FLY late and was able to hold. DARE TO FLY followed in range in the early going, took the turn two wide, chased determinedly into deep stretch, then dug in to reeled in the winner but was too late. HELGA BRANDT (IRE) chased briefly then pressed the leader from outside, dueled around the turn, got turned away at the eighth pole, flattened in the late stages but was able to save third. MISLEADING unhurried in the early going, traveled along the rail then wo wide on the turn, offered a mild response to urging and rounded out the superfecta. MADONNA OF LORETO broke out and bumped MARIAN CROSS (GB), trailed on the inside then moved off the rail, exited the backstretch in the two path, angled five wide around the turn and improved position. INVINCIBLE MOLLY (GB) raced up close three deep, chased three wide around the bend and flattened out. MARIAN CROSS (GB) got bumped and impeded by MADONNA OF LORETO at the start, advanced while widest up the backstretch, bid three deep on the turn, failed to keep up with a quarter mile remaining and faded in the drive. MIZZYAAN chased the speed from off the rail, went three then four wide around the bend and weakened. SOURCE (GB) chased along the rail to the stretch and tired.
