GHAZAALY settled along the inside, moved forward on the backstretch, bid two wide with a quarter mile remaining, kicked clear in upper stretch and was kept busy to the wire. HARD TO FIGURE led outside LEYAS CANDY into the first turn then moved to the inside early on the bend, showed the way up the backstretch, challenged by GHAZAALY past the quarter pole, yielded to the rival in upper stretch and stayed on for a clear second. FEEL THE MAGIC tracked two wide around the clubhouse turn, chased outside a rival into the second bend, eased over to the three path, tipped out into the lane and was along for third. LEYAS CANDY pressed HARD TO FIGURE into the first turn but got put in tight and steadied early on the bend, was closest in pursuit up the backstretch, chased two then three wide on the second bend and weakened in the lane. MANIATIC (IRE) hesitated and came away slow, trailed on the inside, drew closer on the backstretch, asked right handed on the far turn and tired in the stretch run.
