KETONIA (FR) was off a bit slow to begin, trailed on the inside into the turn, eased over to the two path around the bend, got floated out into the lane and bumped at the three-sixteenths pole, drifted in a bit at the eighth pole, dug in outside the leaders and edged PRINCESS MIDNIGHT approaching the wire. PRINCESS MIDNIGHT stalked three deep then outside a rival in the opening stages, ridden along two wide on the turn, challenged three deep at the top of the lane, put a head in front midstretch, dug in through the final sixteenth but was outgamed by the winner. HOW LOVELY (IRE) sprinted to the front and set the tone up the backstretch, saved ground through the turn, came off the fence and was challenged by rivals on both sides in upper stretch, fought into the final sixteenth and yielded late. STRANGE ADDICTION settled off the pace and steered to the inside, tipped out into the lane and bumped KETONIA (FR), got floated in by that rival shortly after, angled out in the final furlong and kept trying to the wire. PRIME AND READY stalked the lead from off the rail then moved inside, waited behind HOW LOVELY (IRE) on the turn, gained an opening and launched a bid at the top of the lane but flattened out in the late stages. NEEDLEPOINT (IRE) chased between rivals then off the rail, went three then four wide around the bend and weakened.
