TIYARA settled off the pace on the inside, coaxed along in range on the far turn still saving ground, lacked room behind the leaders into the final furlong, gained an opening and rallied up the inside, then drove clear from IMPROBABLE U in deep stretch. IMPROBABLE U settled outside a rival, chased three deep at the five-sixteenths pole, challenged in upper stretch, took over past the eighth pole but was no match for the winner late. VELVET LILLY brushed leaving the gate, trailed two wide then along the fence, remained on the rail through the far turn, swung out at the top of the lane, rallied widest in the stretch and gained third. PHOTOGENIC stalked the dueling leaders from inside, roused on the far turn, moved off the fence but got boxed in upper stretch, tipped out for a clear path and kept trying to the wire. FLAMINGO STAR dueled outside SPECIALTY to the top of the lane, put ahead in front briefly in upper stretch, relinquished the lead past the eighth pole and weakened in the late stages. DEFINITELY PRBABLE stalked outside a rival, came under a ride at the three-eighths pole, chased between runners on the far turn and had to steady behind a rival late on that bend, then weakened down the lane. SPECIALTY broke in and bumped VELVET LILLY, went up to take a narrow lead dueling from inside, maintained command to the top of the lane, lost the lead in upper stretch and weakened in the final furlong.
