MISS DONNA set the pace on the inside, took pressure on the backstretch, inched clear on the far turn, met a a pair of bids in upper stretch and edged clear once more. SPRINGLINE stalked in the two path then along the rail, waited behind the leader to the quarter pole then give her cue, challenged from the fence in upper stretch, got put in tight by the winner midstretch, altered out slightly and finished willingly to retain second. HEAVENLY BELLE settled along the fence, went two then three wide around the far turn, took aim at the MISS DONNA in upper stretch but got turned away. ANGEL BABY sat off the pace outside a rival, gained three then four wide on the far turn but flattened out in the final furlong. CHASING NUMBERS angled to the inside early then shifted to the two path on the first turn giving chase, returned to the inside on the backstretch, angled out in the lane and could not rally. DARLIN' DUCHESS raced keenly in hand prior to the first turn, went three then two wide around the bend, pressed the leader from outside in the middle stages, chased in the two path on the second bend and weakened. MISCHIEVOUS BEV laid off the pace outside a rival, trailed two wide on the far turn, angled out for the drive and failed to menace.
