Footnotes
PLAYER B chased two wide into the turn, raced a bit off the rail around the bend, bid three deep in upper stretch and dug in late to edge rivals on both sides. THE OLD NINE (IRE) fought with a pair of rivals then dueled inside BILLY JOE SHAVER past the half-mile pole, battled around the turn and down the lane, finished gamely to the end but came up just short. BELLY UP raced up close from outside, took the turn three wide, bid four deep in upper stretch and finished gamely outside the top pair. BILLY JOE SHAVER vied three deep then dueled outside THE OLD NINE (IRE) past the half-mile pole, fought head to head around the bend, battled to the sixteenth pole and weakened late. BOLT SUPREMACY angled to the inside trailing the field, passed a rival in the two path on the turn, stayed off the rail to the stretch, angled out in the lane and kept trying but needed to find more. BLUEGRASS GO GO pressed the pace from between rivals to the half-mile pole, failed to kick on with the top pair leaving the backstretch, dropped back around the bend and tired.
