THIRSTY TRICKSTER vied three deep, carried a short lead into the lane, put away inner rivals in upper stretch, then drew off while ridden out to the wire. EMIRATES AFFAIR vied for the lead inside a pair of rivals to the top of the lane, could not kick on with THIRSTY TRICKSTER approaching the eighth pole and churned on to hold second. WISHTHEYALLCOULDBE vied between rivals up the backstretch and around the turn, lost touch with the winner in upper stretch and flattened to third. BUDS N SUDS lagged behind on the inside and never got involved.
