PLEASE FOCUS cleared from outside and crossed over, controlled the pace to the far turn, roused outside the quarter pole, felt SO I'M TOLD bearing down with a furlong remaining, maintained a clear lead into the last sixteenth and held gamely over the late run from TRUSTY RUSTY in the final strides. TRUSTY RUSTY angled to the inside racing near the back, traveled between runners in the middle stages, rounded the far turn in the two path, angled out into the lane, came with a late run, got up for second and drew alongside the winner nearing the wire but ran out of ground. SO I'M TOLD rated along the inside the rail behind the leader, lightly coaxed around the far turn, tipped out at the three-sixteenths pole, loomed boldly with a furlong remaining but could not summon the needed late kick. DRUIDIC tracked outside a pair of rivals in the early going, rounded the far turn in the two path, moved out in the lane and kept on to earn a minor award. BRUTTO bumped with MONGOLIAN APPLE prior to the first turn, tracked the speed from inside, ridden along up the backstretch, came under strong urging on the far turn, moved off the fence in upper stretch and improved position. UNCLE EVCO tucked inside at the back, moved into the two path on the far turn, steered out in the lane and passed tired rivals. FEEL THE MAGIC stalked the lone speed outside a rival, was closest in pursuit around the far turn, moved out in the lane and weakened. MONGOLIAN APPLE stumbled leaving the gate, began to pull between runners and bumped with BRUTTO early, followed in hand two wide up the backstretch, traveled along the rail on the far turn and had little left for the stretch run. MALIBU ROCKS settled in the three path, raced outside a pair of rivals on the backstretch, continued three wide through the far turn and came up empty.
