Footnotes
PRINCESA MOCHE (PER) raced up close in the two path, pressed from outside on the backstretch then chased after GOING LUCKY into the far turn, drew alongside the leader again midway around the bend, fought between rivals in the lane, put a head in front at the sixteenth pole and gamely prevailed. VIBEZ was antsy in the gate, sat off the pace on the inside, steered away from the fence in the middle stages, rounded the second bend in the three path, rallied four deep in the lane and got up for second. WILL THEN followed in range outside a pair of rivals, continued in the three path around the far turn, challenged three deep in upper stretch, fought gamely in the late stages but could not summon the needed final kick and got edged for second. PUBLIC ASSEMBLY tracked between rivals in the two path, waited patiently still two wide on the far turn, lacked room from upper to midstretch, then angled to the inside and finished willingly for a minor award. GOING LUCKY grabbed the early lead and steered to the inside, took pressure from PRINCESA MOCHE (PER) on the backstretch, edged clear again past the half-mile pole, confronted by that rival again midway around the far turn, resisted to midstretch, lost command with a sixteenth left to run and weakened late. SIGH NO MORE (IRE) dropped back to last and angled to the rail, passed a rival in the middle stages, saved ground through the far turn, steered out in midstretch and kept trying to improve position but needed to find more. MY PERFECT WAVE stalked from inside, followed behind the leader through the far turn, lacked room through the lane and weakened in deep stretch. BALTIC FIRE settled in the three path, gained four deep around the far turn but flattened out in the stretch run. VIOLETA M (ARG) reserved in the two path early on, trailed into the far turn, came three wide into the lane and was never a factor.
