FLAMINGO STAR sprinted clear and moved inside, roused along the rail with a quarter mile remaining, asked left handed in upper stretch, switched to the right hand in the last sixteenth and maintained a comfortable lead to the wire. OLIVIA had to pause early when PRONOUNCE IT crossed in front, chased three deep into the turn, moved into the two path midway around the bend, followed within striking distance with a furlong remaining, finished willingly late but was only able to close the gap on the winner. SUGAR REIGN sat off the pace in the early going, saved ground while picking up stride on the turn, then ran on to earn the show honors. PANTAGES was fractious in the gate, stalked from inside, pursued in range to upper stretch, then weakened in the final furlong. HARDLY READY broke a step slow, trailed on the inside around the turn and was never a factor. PRONOUNCE IT stalked the pacesetter outside a rival, started to weaken around the bend and tired in the drive.
