RUNAMILEINMYSHOES led in the two path into the first turn then angled to the rail early on the bend, felt OUR MOONLIGHT to the outside approaching the backstretch, cleared again quickly and kicked away in the middle stages, opened up a big lead on the far turn and remained well clear under left handed urging and steady handling through the lane. OUR MOONLIGHT raced up close from and had to put the brakes on when the leader crossed in front early on the clubhouse turn, switched to the outside and drew alongside that rival leaving the bend, lost touch with the pacesetter early on the backstretch, chased out of range two wide into the far turn, was still closest in pursuit around the bend, finished willingly down the lane but was no match for the winner. SHARED FUTURE chased in the two path then found the rail early, dropped off the pace, saved ground through the far turn, churned on to earn the show honors but never threatened. CROSSANNA tracked four wide around the first turn, chased outside a rival in the two path on the second bend and proved no menace. TIME TO SHINE tracked in the three path early, dropped back in the middle stages, eased out of the race early on the far turn, pulled up near the five-sixteenths pole and walked off.
