Footnotes
SPLENDORA tossed her head at the start to lose a step, stalked the pacesetter from between runners, drew alongside ME AND MOLLY MCGEE past the quarter pole, seized control in upper stretch, put that rival away midstretch and held comfortably late. ME AND MOLLY MCGEE sped clear and set the tone up the backstretch, showed the way on the inside around the bend, confronted by SPLENDORA past the quarter pole, relinquished the lead in upper stretch and stayed on to secure second. FORMULA ROSSA pressed the pace from outside in the early going, could not keep touch with the leader into the turn, chased three wide to the stretch and kept on for third. LEMON MUFFIN broke a step slow, stalked the speed from inside, came under a ride on the turn, angled out at the top of the stretch and weakened. IRINA'S CHARM broke well then dropped back, moved into range quickly before suffering a mild shuffle behind SPLENDORA early, trailed two to three wide around the bend, passed a tired rival coming into the stretch and was never a factor. NO BAD BEATS stalked well off the rail in the early going, went four deep into the turn, dropped back while moving to the three path around the bend and tired in the stretch run.
