LIGHT WON UP broke in and bumped SOARING ANGEL, showed early quickness then took a stalking position behind the top pair, moved inside entering the turn, eased over to the two path late on the bend, launched a bid between rivals at the top of the lane, surged clear from outer rivals past the eighth pole and remained strong to the wire. HIMIKA dropped off the pace, got intimidated by FAMOUS FORZA coming in bit and steadied briefly early on the turn, saved ground around the bend, took a bad step crossing back onto the turf, finished well through the lane to gain second but could not threaten the winner. UMBRALLE sprinted to the front then fought outside SOARING ANGEL for the early lead, dueled in the two path around the turn, carried a short lead over the dirt crossing, lost command in upper stretch, flattened in the late stages but was able to save third. HYPERGAMY traveled in mid-pack early on, took the turn two to three, came out over the dirt, offered a mild response when called upon but failed to get by UMBRALLE for the show honors. MOHAVEN stalked the top pair from outside, traveled three wide on the turn, bid five wide into the lane but flattened out in the furlongs grounds. STRUCK BY HER (IRE) settled near the back outside a rival, traveled two to three wide on the turn, chased three deep in upper stretch and failed to threaten. FAMOUS FORZA chased from off the pace, went three wide into the turn, came in slightly early on the turn, swung widest across the dirt, steered inward in the lane and proved no menace. TOTAL VAL trailed in the early going, traveled two wide on the turn, moved out crossing surfaces and passed tired rivals. BOURBON AND GINGER was a bit keen in hand behind the leaders early, chased two to three wide on the turn, angled out over the dirt and weakened in the drive. LA VILLE LUMIERE brushed leaving the gate, raced near the back and moved inside, got put in tight early on the turn, trailed late on the bend, angled out in the drive and passed a tired rival. SOARING ANGEL got bumped by LIGHT WON UP leaving the gate, went up to duel from inside, fought to the top of the stretch and folded.
