Footnotes
CLOONEY tracked outside a rival, remained two wide into the far turn, got moved to the three path at the quarter pole, took aim at the top pair turning for home, latched onto VOLDEMORE just inside the eighth pole, dueled into the last sixteenth and dug in to edge the runner-up. VOLDEMORT showed early speed then took a stalking position in the two path, drew alongside the leader midway around the far turn, seized control approaching the stretch, fought with rivals on both sides past the eighth pole, dueled with CLOONEY in deep stretch and yielded grudgingly. BIG BET JAFINSAFA tracked the pacesetter from the rail positions, eased over to the two path with a quarter mile remaining, flattened in the late stages but was able to get by COWBOY MIKE for third. COWBOY MIKE established the front quickly on the inside, felt pressure from VOLDEMORT at the five-sixteenths pole, headed by that rival at the quarter pole, lost command into the lane, fought to midstretch and weakened in the last sixteenth. THEODORE GEORGE settled at the back on the inside, drew closer along the rail then in the two path on the far turn, angled out late on that bend and came four wide into the stretch, then weakened in the drive.
